Monday, June 26

Dear everyone,
Bad News! I went downtown today for my biopsy. I was all geared up in my gown and getting my IV set. The doctor came in and asked me when I last ate, or if I took an aspirin. I told him I was on Coumadin. No one ever told me to cut my coumadin so my blood was too thin for the procedure. Therefore we needed to re-schedule for Friday and there is no guarantee that my blood will be okay on Friday. Such a mess! And we have to run to Northwestern almost every day this week for other doctor appointments. I wish this cancer stuff was easy! That you all for the prayers and being so supportive!
Love,
Sherrie

Hi Sherrie!

You hang in there! I know this is annoying and scary, but you have beaten much worse known things. There are prayers flying for you and yours...never forget we all keep you in our thoughts and prayers and even though this cancer stuff isn't easy, I hope it's easIER knowing that those who care for you (some who have only met you through this blog) are still reading, still praying, still believing you will be through this soon.

Ba-Roooooo, Sherrie!
Bummer about the deer and even bigger bummer about not being able to take your test. I am in the crate gettng an attitude adjustment. I lost the beagle war today. Did Barney ever have to get his attitude adjusted? How long was it before Barney's mom found out that it didn't work? I think my mom is a little slow, cause I'm a puppy and puppies chew things! I'm a dog for cryin-out-loud, and why is it such a big deal to get a drink out of the toilet??? After all, that water is absolutely fresh 10 times a day:)
Anyway, mom says prayers for you every day and I say a Ba-Roooo for you too. After all, God speaks "beagle" fluently, so He knows exactly what my prayer says.
My boy-toy made his statement of faith on Sunday and joined the church. I'm not exactly sure what that means, but I know it was a good day cause everyone was here together, and that Rocks!
Eat your veggies and stay away from the coumadin and please tell Barney that I said "Hi".
Blessings,
Sparky Beagle
