Dear All,
Today has been a little rough. I can't keep any food down, and my throat is killing me. I think it is the mucousitis and mouth sores are kicking in. My wonderful Mama and Dada have been taking good care of me. I love you guys so much!

I teach first graders and we are beginning a poetry unit. We are looking at ordinary things with "poet's eyes", seeing them in a new way. I thought of you today as I taught my poetry mini lesson. You will forever more look at the ordinary with poet's eyes and see things in a new way.
We are continuing to pray for you and for the easing of your side effects.

I was just thinking about you and wanted to say hi. I've got the green lymphoma bracelet on and I will leave it on everyday (even if it doesn't match my outfit!!) until you get out of the hospital so that it serves as a constant reminder of you and the fight you are going through. You are always in my thoughts and prayers and I can't wait until you are out of there. I will be visiting you soon!
